I am directed by the Minister of Health to refer to Mr. Cowell's letter of the 25th July, Reference 53928/38, regarding the case of Captain John Reynolds, and to say that he understands that since the letter under reply was written the authorities of the Seamen's Hospital, Greenwich, have got into touch direct with the authorities of the St. Alfege's Hospital, Greenwich, an establishment belonging to the London County Council, with a view to arranging for the immediate transfer of Captain Reynolds to the latter institution.

The Minister, in the circumstances, is not taking any further action in the matter.
